Design Manager - Electrical

• Min. Experience of 12+ Years in Design, Drafting & Preparation of Design Reports in MEP Construction projects. 
• Perform electrical design calculations of MEP construction projects (Medium and large size projects) independently as an Electrical Lead, depending on the scope of the project.
• Provide input for Engineers & Draftsmen, check completed drawings & issue for approval. Monitoring productivity of draftsmen & giving reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Experience in Electrical design on LV, MV, HV and ELV side.
• Sizing of electrical equipment such as generators, motors, transformers, switchgear / switchboards, VFDs, soft starters, power factor correction, cables, UPS systems, batteries, lighting, earthing / bonding and lightning protection systems.
• Review / preparation of design deliverables such as detailed single line diagrams, load lists, cable routing and ladder rack diagrams, interconnection and wiring diagrams, trench layouts, electrical equipment layouts, lighting layouts, power factor calculations, earthing and Lightning protection layouts.
• Preparation and through understanding of Design Basis Report, specifications and data sheets for various HV, LV and ELV Systems.
• Preparation project reports, Design Strategy for Tender projects, etc. 
• Preparation of area classification drawings and selection of electrical equipment for hazardous areas.
• Responsible for completing the project within the time schedule and allocated man-hours
• Coordination and follow up of electrical design and drawings with other disciplines.
• Responsible for the quality of the deliverables.
• Gulf Projects Experience is must.
• Knowledge in ELV Systems, ICT Systems is advantage.
• Good and Strong communication skills and leadership to coordinate with the team to achieve the task on time.
• Able to assist the team with technical and practical knowledge.
• A good coordination with other Department (Arch, Civil, Mech, Tender and QS)
• Preparation of Concept, Design and Shop drawings based on the schedule.
• Proficient in Dialux & ETAP, Revit & CAD Software.
• Preferable in working in a BIM environment including inter-discipline coordination, clash detection & QC of models.

• B.Tech / BE- EEE / ECE
