Estimation Engineer - Civil

• Reviewing the drawings and specifications of the projects prepared by the design team, and accordingly creating the final detail or Bill of Quantities (BoQ)

• Reviews the Contract Documents to become acquainted with requirements and specifications of the project.

• Assists in developing and preparing Job Budget by activity based on the Contract.

• Understand the Construction Civil system.

•  BBS calculation, quantity takeoff, market rate analysis

• Coordinating with Sub-Con/Supplier, Techno-commercial analysis of all the Material prior to material submittal

• Identifying the cost and time constraints

• Knowing the supply cost for each individual element.

• Determining the labor requirements for completing the project.

• Maintaining an civil cost database.

• Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors.

• Maintaining a healthy relationship with the vendors.

• Notifying to the client for any changes

• Completing the project bids as per the guidelines. 

Reporting:

• Reporting to Tendering & Estimation Manager 

Desired profile of the candidate 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil Engineer)
• Proven work experience as a cost estimator using mathematical skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications with advanced MS. Excel skills and Candy Estimation Software Advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of construction and engineering processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced analytical skills.
