  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.

 

  • Implement resource loading techniques in Primavera P6 to effectively allocate manpower, equipment, and materials according to project requirements and constraints.
  • Utilize Primavera P6’s costing features to estimate project costs, track expenditures, and analyze project budget variances throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against the planned schedule, resource utilization, and budget, and identify deviations or risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards using Primavera P6 to provide project stakeholders with timely updates on project status, key performance indicators, and forecasted outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and scenario analysis using Primavera P6 to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to evaluate change requests, assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and costs, and incorporate approved changes into the project plan.
  • Provide technical support and training to project team members on Primavera P6 functionalities related to resource loading, costing, and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards, methodologies, and organizational policies in all project planning and scheduling activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize project planning processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in construction management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software and other project management tools and software.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
